Pattern 2-3-6 was originally used by the Cosmopolitan Group. Last usage was 3/22/1910 when Cosmo switched to pattern 1-3. On 4/2/1910 pattern 2-3-6 started showing up on Quaker Oats Company correspondence. The cancel on the stamp gives a good indication of the user. Cosmo from NY are typically cancelled by wavy lines and Quaker Oats, from Chicago, have a straight line cancel.

Very rare. This is one of the missing links between the original pattern 3-7 and common pattern 3-4-6-7-8. One on piece with 3/13 hand written. Very small time frame in which this pattern was produced.
