Between 1904 and 1923, the Post Office Department prepared a series of at least ten small, pocked-sized booklets, which were provided at no cost to their postal patrons. These booklets included information about domestic and international postal rates, details on special service offered by the Post Office, and other information that would be useful to individuals and businesses in their use of postal services. Most of the information was extracted from the Official Postal Guides, but presented in a condensed manner more easily understood by the postal patrons.
The Post Office has continued to provide similar products into the latter part of the 20th century, and one example of these from 1998 is included.
