The Modern Postal History Journal was the periodical for the MODERN POSTAL HISTORY SOCIETY. Driven by Terence Hines, this group documented and studied US modern postal history (1938 onward), postal practices and policies. It’s quarterly periodical, Modern Postal History Journal, was published from 1982 to 1996 and contains much valuable information for collectors and postal historians. To help preserve this important cache of philatelic knowledge and effort, Mike Ludeman and I have digitized all the back issues and offer them for free download below. Terence Hines was not only instrumental in the original effort but has also supported this digitation project; we are deeply grateful for his contributions to the hobby.
