Said articles appeared in successive issues of The Czechoslovak Specialist, the official journal of The Society for Czechoslovak Philately during 1991 to 1994.

The 36-page monograph features black and white illustrations as well as photograohs throughout. Among the eleven chapters are the “First Issues” (Hradcany at Prague, Scott A1 and A2), “Chainbreaker” stamps (Scott A6), the “Agriculture and Science” issues (leaf and petal varieties, Scott A8), and the “Early Masaryk” issues (mustache varieties, Scott A9 and A10). There are also chapters specific to Overprints, Airmail, and BOB.

The monograph is printed on semi-glossy stock, which translates to good photograph reproduction.
