The primary references for United States postal rates are the two publications prepared and published by Henry W. Beecher and Anthony S. Wawrukiewicz,
U.S. Domestic Postal Rates, 1872-2011, Third Edition, and
U.S. International Postal Rates, 1872-1996. Both titles are readily available for purchase, and can be found occasionally in several well-known on-line auctions, and are available from the American Philatelic Society Publication Shop.
Postal rates are continually changing, and in the years following their publication, Tony continued to track changes to the rates, and prepared several supplements which included information about rates which changed following their publications. He also compiled a list of errors, or
errata, that had crept into the publications. And once he was able to bring these new rate supplements to Stamp Smarter, he was also able to create digital editions with additional information relating to Parcel Post rates that had not been practical to include in the original printed publications.
This page includes these compilations prepared by Tony to supplement the original publications. For information about United States postal rates which were in effect in the years since the resources here, the reader is encouraged to see the Stamp Smarter Library page
Modern US Postal Rates, which can be found
